All About Mrs. Phillips
I am so excited to be joining Mrs. Cooper in F-1 again this year. This will be our eigth year teaching together at Kolb and our fifth year teaching First Grade! (for three years we taught Third) I previously taught First Grade at John Green Elementary and before that taught First Grade and Kindergarten for seven years in Sunnyvale, CA. I am originally from the East Bay, I grew up in Concord, and later received my B.A from Sonoma State University. I then returned to the East Bay and got my teaching credential from CSU East Bay. In 2011 I got my Master's Degree in Early Literacy from Walden University. My husband and I have two daughters. Nora who is almost 8 and Adeline who is 5. When not teaching I love spending time with my family, traveling, and photography. I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
All About Mrs. Cooper
My name is Sabrina Cooper and I am excited to be a part of your child’s educational journey. I grew up in Dublin so being able to educate the children in my own community holds a very special place in my heart. I began my career in education in 2003 at Extended Day Child Care Center at Murray Elementary School in Dublin as a teacher’s assistant. Eventually, I moved over to Dougherty Elementary School. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Human Development from California State University East Bay. After completing my undergraduate work I continued my education through California State University Monterey Bay with a focus in Elementary education. During my credential program I student taught at Frederiksen Elementary in 2nd grade and at Dublin Elementary school in 5th grade.
I currently live in the tri-valley with my husband Caleb and our three daughters, Arianna, Gabrielle and Lucianna. Being a mom is what I LOVE most!!! My daughters keep me very busy and always on my toes! During my free time I enjoy spending it with my family, traveling and attending sporting events. |
